Start the month off on the right foot and help raise funds for charity by taking part in the Humpty Dumpty Balmoral Burn. The famous 420m course is set on Awaba Hill. Dash to the top and help the Humpty Dumpty Foundation raise money for children’s hospitals and medical assistance. Don’t forget to stretch before you start! The chance of wet weather didn't deter thousands of Sydneysiders pounding the pavement for this year's Humpty Dumpty Balmoral Burn.

The annual Humpty Dumpty Balmoral Burn fundraising weekend commenced at the invite only Sponsors' Dinner on Friday night, raising $1.9 million to go towards children's medical equipment for children's hospitals and health service centres across Australia. More than 55 individual medical iems including two Chairman's Wishes valued at $67,000 each on the Wish List were purchased by Humpty donors. This year Race Day attracted 61 corporate team sponsors and 93 senior school teams take on the infamous Awaba Street hill, not to mention the thousands of individuals that ran or walked the 420 metre race course. Sydney identities including Angela Bishop, Mark Beretta, Jacinta Tynan, Jane Flemming and event creator Phil Kearns (carried by his personal trainer, Kyle Janks!) all participated in the charity event.
