Lah-Lah’s Big Live Band

Sydney Festival returns to Parramatta from January 15-27. Be sure to catch the exciting program that is sure to delight the entire family.

Circolombia’s URBAN arrives at Riverside Theatre. Set against the backdrop of Colombian city Cali, URBAN features mind-blowing acrobatic feats and a pulsating soundtrack that conjures the rhythm and character of dark street life.

After touring Europe, the boys from Briefs are back with an all male circus to tantalize and tease. Enjoy a spectacular show at the Salon Perdu Spiegeltent as your host, Shivannah, love-child of the ringmaster and the bearded lady, leads a contortion of vaudeville, burlesque, dance and clowning.

Celebrate the Opening Party on January 19 as the heart of Parramatta transforms into a musical extravaganza. Enjoy free events; explore The Megaphone Project along Church Street; listen to the world’s largest Pyrophone, an enormous musical instrument that explodes with flames and irresistible beats; and close the night with a family friendly concert featuring the fabulously funky Kashmere Stage Band and Malian singing superstar Rokia Traore.

The festival closes in Parramatta with an amazing concert on January 26. Enjoy the musical spectacle that is Lah-Lah’s Big Live Band. Slip on your dancing shoes and dance the night away. Sway to the music of Archie Roach, one of Australia’s most gifted artists. A born storyteller, Archie is joined by a 13-piece music ensemble and a 10-voice gospel choir.

Celebrate the Sydney Festival at Parramatta. After a day of festivities, relax in the comfort of our Apartments Parramatta Sydney located in the heart of Parramatta.
