Sydney celebrates the triumphs, the richness of the heritage and culture of the longest-surviving indigenous community in Australia. In honour of this year’s National Aboriginal and Islander Day Observance Committee or NAIDOC Week, festivities and exciting events will happen across the country and Sydney also has many happenings in store for this occasion.

Everyone is invited to join the festivities on 7 July in Hyde Park, Hyde Park North Sydney where you can enjoy performances from popular singers, take part in modern and traditional dance, or you can even try your hand at weaving, get more insights about the traditional culture and have a fun day in the park with your family and friends celebrating the NAIDOC Week in Sydney.

On 9 July, remarkable artworks will be displayed during the Art After Hours where you can join the line-up of special artist talks featuring the renowned Aussie artists, workshops, art guided tours and exhibitions of artworks, among others.
