If you want your fortune told by a gypsy while watching a belly dancer and then have an intimate lunch or dinner after, then head on over to Sahra By The River – a family restaurant that specialises in Lebanese cuisine.
Owned and managed by the Alamein family, Sahra By The River combines Middle Eastern hospitality and Australia’s laid back nature.
According to user reviews of the restaurant as culled from Eatability.com, “quoll31” “Highly recommends” Sahra By The River because “..the food is very good Lebanese and the service is fast and flawless. The waiters are excellent and most waiters in Sydney could learn from their very professional attention to detail and politeness..”
Another Eatability user, “kris_” cites the restaurant as “Below average.” According to “kris_,” the restaurant does not offer “value for money..The mains are..not that tasty. Salads were good though (but the) Dessert..a disappointment.”
