Kick Off the Sydney Comedy Festival at the Riverside Theatre in Parramatta

Get ready for the return of the Sydney Comedy Festival, Sydney’s biggest annual comedy event featuring a huge program of live comedy in and around the city! The Sydney Comedy Festival will feature some of the biggest comedians and performers from all over the globe arrive in Sydney this April and May, offering everything from stand-up to sketch shows, satire, improvisational, absurdist, theatre, magic, and even kids’ comedy. Expected to entertain more than 122,500 people this year, the Sydney Comedy Festival is not to be missed!

Kicking off the festival this April will be several lavish galas taking place in selected few of Sydney’s most iconic venues, including the Sydney Opera House, Enmore Theatre, The Concourse, and the Riverside Theatre in Parramatta, just moments from our apartments Parramatta Sydney! The exclusive gala shows are set to feature some of comedy’s biggest names for an exciting start to the 14th Sydney Comedy Festival.

Not to miss this year at the Sydney Comedy Festival include Alex Williamson, Angelo Tsarouchas, Aunty Donna, Bart Freebairn, Cal Wilson, Cam Knight, Craig Quartermine, Dane Baptiste, Daniel Connell, David O’Doherty, Dilruk Jayasinha, Emily Tresidder, Emma Malik, Fran Middleton, Heath Franklin, Ivan Aristeguieta, Jacques Barrett, Josh Wade, Kitty Flanagan, Kuah Jenhan, Kyle Kinane, Laura Few, Lawrence Leung, Matt Okine, Michelle Brasier, Neal Kolhatkar, Nick Cody, Rebbeca De Unamuno, Rhys Nicholson, Rose Callaghan, Ross Noble, Shawn Wayans, Steen Raskopoulos, The Bear Pack, The Naked Magicians, Tom Walker, Tommy Little, Urzila Carlson, and lots more. The performances will take place at the Factory Theatre, The Comedy Store, Hayden Orpheum Picture Palace, UNSW Roundhouse, Bondi Pavilion Theatre, EVAN Theatre, Dee Why RSL, Giant Dwarf, Sydney Town Hall, The Juniors Kingsford, Sutherland Entertainment Centre, Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre, and Seymour Centre.
